Pantone has announced the Color of the Year for 2016. A softer take and a different approach with blending two shades was chosen this year. Serenity and Rose Quartz were chosen by the experts headquartered in New Jersey. Every year a new color is chosen that they believe will reflect the year’s fashion, home decor and design. Pantone states – “joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.”
